The Evangelic Church is a special case of modern architecture.

    1971 Constructed.

    1865 Founded.

  3. Byzantine era (331 AC- 1453)

  4. Roman era (30 BC- 330 AC)

  5. Hellenistic era (322- 31 BC)

  6. Classical era (478-323 BC)

  7. Archaic era (800-479 BC)

  8. Geometric era (-1100- 800 BC)

  9. Prehistory (-1100 BC)

What I can see

It is the largest and oldest evangelical church in the city, with a capacity of 500 people. The simplicity of the lines and the abstraction symbolize the simplicity of the evangelical faith, which makes it a distinct architectural example of modernism.

What I can't see

It was built on the site of an older church and was designed by Vassilis Nikolaidis. It is self-governing, like all the evangelical churches of the world, as there is no leader (eg Pope, Patriarch) and “secular authority” has no place in the faith for Christ. The evangelical church of Pylaia, in eastern Thessaloniki, is also of architectural interest.
