What I can see

In the area of Kοuponia, as it was called at the beginning of the 20th century, is Ilissia Park. It occupies an area of approximately 150 acres; the terrain has been preserved in its natural form and the dominant plants are very tall pines and cypresses, while there are also many bushes near the cobbled and earthy paths. In the park, we find stone water fountains (out of operation), playgrounds, a stone iconostasis, a building of the National Agricultural Research Foundation, benches and other structures offered for rest. Ilissia Park is an important green space for the city and many residents visit it for a walk, relaxation, staying cool during summer months, to walk their pets and socialize.

What I can't see

It is also called Syngrou Park, after the name of the nearby hospital.
