What I can see
This is a chain of stores (Syntagma, Koukaki, Neo Psychiko, Agia Paraskevi) with an interesting variety of sweets, but it is mainly famous for the rich taste and seductive aroma of its ice cream, which is made from pure raw materials. In addition, Le Greche’s ice cream follows the standards of high nutritional value, low sugar content and aims to stimulate the gastronomic interest of customers and apply unique recipes. At the same time, at Le Greche one can find branded handmade Italian sweets, enjoy a coffee and try unique aperitif- cocktails.
What I can't see
The creators of Le Greche, Evi Papadopoulou and Fotis Alifragkis aim at minimal environmental footprint by using biodegradable packaging and the business supports young Greek athletes and artists through sponsorships. Evi Papadopoulou studied at the Castalmenti confectionery school of the great Italian pastry chef Iginio Massari and among her teachers was – the also Italian – Francesco Palmieri.
