The Canadian Institute in Greece is associated with the study of Greek History from ancient times to the modern era, in collaboration with other research fields, such as philology, history, art history, anthropology and fine arts. It promotes and highlights knowledge about the history and culture of Greece, archaeological research and any other related research activity. At the same time, it promotes Canadian culture in Greece. The institute’s library has 6,000 titles and its photographic archive is rare.
The institute also organizes seminars, lectures, conferences and facilitates researchers and academic scholars in various ways.
1974 It was founded as a charitable educational institution.
2005 It was expanded for the better development of the library and the creation of additional office and hospitality spaces.
