The open-air theatre of Kolonos is located on the Ippios Kolonos Hill and it hosts performances and other cultural events during automn.

The open-air Theatre of Kolonos is located in the green hill of Ippios Kolonos. Its diameter is approximately 30m, has a capacity of approximately 800 seats, is made of stone and marble, and its ground plan follows the logic of ancient Greek theatres.
Every September, musical and theatrical events are held here as part of the Kolonos Festival, one of the most important artistic events of the City of Athens.
