What I can see
It is a simple building of the modernist movement that stands out for the human scale that is governed by and is noticeably different from the surrounding buildings. It has a modest and axis-symmetrical facade and its Art Deco decoration is very discreet. The balconies and semi-outdoor spaces create a game of light and shadow, which gives a mild plasticity to the building. The ground floor houses auxiliary spaces and each floor includes an apartment.
What I can't see
The apartment spaces are divided into 3 sections: a) reception areas on the facade, b) bedrooms and bathrooms and c) kitchen and utility areas. The building is located in the most expensive area of the city. It was designed by Dimitris Fotiadis and associates. Fotiadis was a graduate of the École Spéciale d’Architecture in Paris and belongs to the architects who significantly modernized the urban apartment building of the interwar period.
