This two-storey apartment building is an example of a modernized version of eclecticism. Perhaps, its most important architectural element is the erkcers, that is, the enclosed balconies in projection, which have a prismatic shape and not the typical rectangular one.
It was designed by Leonidas Bonis, a graduate of the French Ecole des Beaux Arts, who was also the architect of other important buildings in the city, such as the Mansion of the Army Pension Fund and the Rex Cinema- Theatre.
