What I can see
The old university building houses administrative services and the library. Architecturally it follows the principles of modern classicism, it is characterized by symmetry and austerity, and it has an entrance that resembles a stoa. It was built to the standards of the Ecole Libres des Sciences Politique, in order to house the private School of Political Economy. Today, Panteion University has also other buildings, consisting of 4 faculties and 9 departments. The newer wing, northeast of the old building, has totally blind facades on its width, but the longitudinal facades are transparent thanks to the extensive use of glass.
What I can't see
It is the fifth oldest institution of higher education in the country and the first school of political science. It was founded by the non-profit company “Educational Renaissance” of Georgios Fragoudis, a member of the Venizelos party. Eleftherios Venizelos himself had expressed the desire to teach at the school. The name “Panteion” is due to the legacy of Alexandros Pantos (1888-1930).
