What I can see

About 7km from the centre of Thessaloniki and on Aretsou beach, is the marina of Kalamaria. Its 242 berths include all the necessary facilities and can accommodate boats up to 30 m long. About 700 m. further west, we see the marina of the Kalamaria Maritime Club of Thessaloniki, a historical club of the city.

What I can't see

It is also called Marina of Thessaloniki. It is not possible to rent boats or cars. There are plans to privatize the marina, which will bring serious changes to the landscape, housing and beach. The local community is firmly opposed to these plans.
