The architecture of the Hatzdimoulas Mansion is particularly influenced by the Hebrard plan. It is eclectic, with references to neo-Byzantinism and has many Art Nouveau elements. It consists of a basement, ground floor and 2 floors. The recesses of the corner, in addition to the fact that they create balconies, favour the rectangular plan of the interior spaces. The arched entrance is very impressive. It is framed by marble and the owner’s initials are engraved on the keystone of the arch.
From the name of the building we conclude that it belonged to the family of the industrialist Iraklis Hatzidimoulas and was probably a residential mansion. It was designed by the architect Dimitrios Filyzis. The Art Nouveau elements are not limited only to the facades, but are also evident to the interior, where the painted decoration with neoclassical influences is equally impressive. Before the earthquakes of 1978, the corner had a tower-shaped end, which was demolished. These days, the building belongs to the Deposit and Loans Fund.
