Modern and Contemporary era (1821 - )

1927 Constructed.

1958 It was merged with the neighbouring building of the then Ioniki Bank, also a work of Anastasios Metaxas (1911), with serious changes to its interior. The merger of the two buildings was designed by Konstantinos Kambanelis.

1999 The two buildings were carefully restored and re-separated with precision.
