What I can see
This church was designed by Ernst Ziller and is of the neo-Romanesque order. This order has a monumental style and characteristic domes. The turrets on the outer edges of the church are its most distinctive feature, and set it apart from most Byzantine and Neo-Byzantine Orthodox churches.
What I can't see
It was the church of the Chatzikonstas Orphanage and was located in its cortyard. The orphanage was demolished, but the church was not. In Greece, the neo-Romanesque order is rare and elements of this architecture can be found in the Cathedral of Agios Grigorios Palamas in Thessaloniki and in the Church of Our Lady Faneromeni in Aegio, both works of the same architect.
