What I can see
The seafront of Eleusis has been designed for a pleasant walk to its most part. It is about 2km long and apart from the commercial port, it includes 4 marinas, one of which is exclusively for fishermen. On this route, we come across cafes- bars, recreational areas, fish taverns, children’s playground, an open air movie theatre, antiquities (Roman baths), a cinema club, sports grounds, Eleftherias Square and Aeschyleion Park, which honours the maritime past and the shipbuilding identity of Eleusis.
What I can't see
Eleusis belonged to the most important and holiest cities of ancient Greece. Its industrialization in the modern era changed its status significantly and caused its environmental degradation.
