This sculpture is made of stainless steel and is 3m high. It is a composition of different volumes featuring convex and concave surfaces and corresponding contours, while the entire sculpture bears linear striations. This work is an abstract representation of the unique relationship between humans and their surrounding environment.
It was created by Christina Sarantopoulou, an artist who has been awarded in Greece and abroad, and a work of hers adorns the municipality of Calaf in Barcelona. Morphologically, the artist’s early works referred to Constructivism, as is the case with this particular piece.
