What I can see

The former Metropol Hotel consists of a ground floor and 4 floors, it is an eclectic building with decoration on the lintels, the balconies and the corbels. Panagiotis Zizilas, who designed it, was inspired by the French school of Beaux-Arts.

What I can't see

It operated as a luxury hotel, but after the war and by 1969, when it ceased its activity, it had been downgraded to a b-class hotel. Later, it was abandoned and at the end of the century, the interior was demolished, but the façade was preserved. The interior was re-built to serve a retail store.
