What I can see

This architectural project houses a shipping company and consists of two separate buildings. Building A houses the administration, the company museum, foyer, library, offices, lounge, roof garden and canopy. There is an extensive use of marble, stainless steel and shades. Building B is covered by a vertical garden. The ellipsoidal atrium enables natural lighting and a play of light and shadow. The structure and colours of the building (white on the floors and gray on the base) are reminiscent of a passenger ship. The design was influenced by the proximity to the sea and the owner’s profession, which is why the water element in the courtyard is evident and the lines of the floors are similar to water flows.

What I can't see

The building complex, with an area of 30,616 sq.m., was designed by Rena Sakellaridou- Sparch and received international nominations and awards. Particular emphasis was placed on the energy consumption of the buildings. The two buildings are connected by 4-level basements. The first level houses a gym, a swimming pool, mechanical facilities and utility areas. The other 3 levels are parking lots.
