Modern and Contemporary era (1821 - )

1872 Beginning of construction. It lasted a year.

1921 Syngro's wife bequeathed it to the state to house the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

1930 The building underwent changes and additions.

1976 It was declared a protected work of art.

1985 The newer building was constructed.
