What I can see
The Forest Festival is a leading cultural institution of Thessaloniki and its activity starts in May and ends in September. It hosts Greek renowned artists, independent productions and productions of the State Theatre of Northern Greece. The -more recent- “International Forest Festival” is a worthy effort for the institution to become more extroverted and has already hosted and co-produced several international productions. In addition, parallel actions take place, such as symposia, online screenings and webinars.
What I can't see
It is called “Forest Festival” because the Forest Theatre is the main stage of the festival. However, other facilities also participate, such as the Gis Theatre, the State Theatre of Northern Greece, the theatre of the Society of Macedonian Studies and the theatre of Lazariston Monastery.
