Homophonia Thessaloniki Pride
Homophonia Thessaloniki Pride is an LGBTQI + collectivity that protects the rights of the gay, trans and queer community.
Modern and Contemporary era (1912 - )
2012 The collectivity was founded and the first Thessaloniki Pride took place.
2024 Europride took place in Thessaloniki.

What I can see
It is a collectivity for the LGBTQI+ rights and organiser of Thessaloniki Pride. It holds events and actions regarding human rights of the LGBTQI+ community, makes interventions in the media, implements workshops in schools, holds seminars, art exhibitions, trainings and participates in various relevant campaigns.
What I can't see
Homophonia Thessaloniki Pride often takes part in judicial activism and develops a network with similar collectivities in Greece and abroad. Meanwhile, there is also “Sylvia Rivera”, an independent group which coordinates the self-organized Thessaloniki Pride, with the same goals, but in a deeper social movement context and far from any logic that could refer to pinkwashing.
