What I can see

This is the house of Konstantinos Mittas, as the marble inscription informs us. It is an eclectic building with Renaissance and neo-Baroque elements, while its arrangement is tripartite in base-main body- crowning. Its decoration is strong, especially on the walls and edges of the building, while the curved pediment with relief figures of people and horses, full of movement and dynamism, is reminiscent of pediments and friezes of ancient Greek temples and Renaissance buildings. Also notable is the niche with the statue at the centre of the facade, the garlands, the ribbons, the acanthus leaves and the Baroque wooden carved lintels. The side corridor leads to the back yard and to a covered balcony with the entrances to the two independent floors.

What I can't see

The spaces are developed on either side of the central living room. The building has been declared a work of art and proved to be very resistant during the 1978 earthquake.
