What I can see
It is a 10-storey building, lined with marble from Ioannina (Greece). It has a “cuddling shape”, which makes the building look as if it’s opening itself to the Parthenon above it, in the distance. The majority of its rooms offer panoramic views of the Acropolis, Lycabettus and Philopappos hills. The west wing is scalable, thereby creating spacious green terraces which give the impression of hanging gardens.
What I can't see
It is one of the most popular hotels in the city and features 630 guest rooms. The lobby is illuminated by a glass roof. The atrium gives a sense of depth and features a golden sphere with a diameter of 3 metres at its centre, by the internationally-acclaimed artist Takis.
