The coastal front of Athens, known as "Paraliaki" (i.e. seaside beach), hosts much of the city's nightlife, especially during the summer months.

What I can see
The coastal front of Athens hosts much of the city’s nightlife, especially during the summer months. Specifically, the section from Palaio Faliro to Varkiza is about 20 km long and includes bars, clubs, restaurants, cafes, pastry shops and live music venues. Here are some of the most famous summer clubs in the country, dominated by younger adults ages. “Paraliaki” (i.e. Beach) in the summer is a vivid place 24 hours a day.
What I can't see
According to Article 24 of the Constitution, coasts and beaches belong to the citizens. Limiting access to them by any private enterprise is unconstitutional, but many of the restaurants and entertainment venues have either directly restricted access to the sea or are licensed for a refreshment shop, while their actual activity is very different from what is allowed by their licence. These violations and unlawful acts, coupled with long hours of music and encroachment on free spaces for parking, have become permanent as they continue with the state’s tolerance.
