What I can see

The Swedish Institute at Athens is housed in one of the most beautiful buildings in the area. Its facades have a tripartite vertical arrangement, with many neoclassical elements (e.g. pediments, cornice, gobbles, pseudo-columns), but also eclectic elements (e.g. arched entrance and arched balcony openings on one of the facades).

What I can't see

Formerly known as the Swedish Archaeological Institute, its headquarters are in Stockholm and its mission is to conduct research on the culture of ancient Greece, while providing higher education and cultural exchange between Greece and Sweden. It is also permitted to conduct archaeological excavations, publishes researches in the Opuscula journal, has its own library and is member of the Nordic Library, in which the corresponding institutes of Denmark, Finland and Norway also participate.
