What I can see

This apartment building is an example of a modern building that symbolizes the transition from the era of Eclectic architecture to Modernism. Apart from eclectic elements, there are also Art Nouveau ones. The curves in the balconies (erkers), the railing and the decoration are the main components of these eclectic elements. The erkers we see here are the last examples of their use.

What I can't see

The block of flats as a form of residence, began to develop during the Interwar period, not only architecturally, but also technically and legally. Building techniques evolved and legislation adapted accordingly. This development gradually brought about the simplification of the construction process and after the war, the apartment building acquired a standardized form, resulting in the architect gaining more executive rather than creative role. Thus, no matter what their artistic background, the architects were forced to adapt to the new trends over time.
