What I can see
The Syndikas Mansion is an eclectic three storey building with rectangular ground plan and its facades and openings are symmetrical. The facades are joined at the circular corner, which is crowned with a dome. On the top floor and the outermost ends, there are relief decorations and medallions. It is obvious that there are influences from the Austro-German variant of Art Nouveau “Secession”, as can be seen from the curved projections on the side axes, but also from the simple and linear decoration of the building as a whole.
What I can't see
It was designed by Anastasios Zachariadis and Konstantinos Kokoropoulos and was probably owned by mayor Petros Syndikas (1922-1926). Initially, it housed offices and businesses and today houses a bank.
