What I can see
This eclectic building, was made of reinforced concrete, which was a new material for that time. The concrete allowed for the creation of large facades and large openings, so that light flows abundantly and there is an unobstructed view. It was built in the interwar period and according to the standards of commercial buildings of the West. It is imposing, with Art Deco elements and bay windows. The simple decoration marks the gradual transition from eclectic to modern architecture.
What I can't see
The work of Andreas Georgakopoulos and Symeon Mylonas is impressive in its interior, and especially in the decoration of the ceilings, the patios, and the internal balconies. Today, the space houses mainly businesses.
