What I can see

The museum of Kerameikos features findings from its archaeological site. Some of the most significant ones are Dexileos’ relief, the tomb of Amfaretis (who carries her grandchild in her arms), lions, sphinxes, kouros and the mosaics in the gallery of the museum. In the first room, we see the evolution of funerary monuments in Attica. In the rest of the museum, we see funerary vases and items from the interior of the tombs of Keramikos, arranged by group and in chronological order.

What I can't see

The findings housed in the museum come from excavations by the German Archaeological Institute. Many of the archaic findings (mainly tombstones) were found on Themistocles walls. They were used as building material.
