What I can see
It is a space that combines research, studies and the promotion of arts related to gender and sexuality. Among the actions it carries out are the organizing of festivals, screenings of documentaries, screenings of experimental queer films, workshops, lectures, presentations of queer music and other activities.
What I can't see
The museum’s aim is to bring researchers dealing with body politics together, exchange ideas and create a safe space for LGBTIQI+ activists and feminist organizations, where they can organize their meetings and events. The creation of an LGBTQI+ archive has also begun, which – among other things – includes collections, artworks, zines, audio-visual material (e.g. interviews, films) and photographs. The aim of the archive is to map the Greek LGBTQI+ movement and its history.
