What I can see
The significance of the building lies in its “classical-modern style”, as pointed out by professor Eleni Flessa. It is a six-storey building combining classicist and modern elements.
What I can't see
The foundation’s legator was Bodossakis (Turkish epithet of the Greek name Prodromos) Athanasiadis (1891-1979). The Bodossaki Foundation’s goal is the promotion of education, healthcare and environmental protection. Bodossakis Athanasiadis was stigmatized after the junta fell, because he had accepted close ties with the regime by donating his villa to the public in order to be used by the regime’s prime ministers.
