Today, only the gate, part of the courtyard, the fountain and the external stone staircase from the mansion of the Chomatianos-Logothetis family survive. The church of Agios Elisseos also belonged to the mansion. It served as a family church.
After Morosini’s departure, Athenians left Athens en masse. Then, the Logothetis family bought lands at extremely low prices. Logothetis was consul of England during the Ottoman period. When his suddenly daughter died (1805), they attributed her death to witchcraft, shocking the Athenians. Her funeral was attended by nobles and clergy, while the deceased was buried in a wedding dress.
