What I can see
The museum is housed in spaces of the Dentistry Department of the National Kapodistrian University of Athens. The main hall of the museum is located on the first floor of the school and other exhibits are in unique spaces in waiting rooms, and the entrance to the amphitheatre. The collection refers to the history of dentistry in Greece, the global development of dentistry and the history of the department. It includes tools, appliances, materials, complete dental units, photographic material, digitised archival material, records, case laws, decrees and content relevant to the development of dental theory and practice.
What I can't see
The museum is the result of the voluntary effort of educational and research staff. Its aim is not just greater contact with the exhibits, but also to be an accessible educational and research tool for everyone. The collection is continuously updated, and the website of the museum enables virtual tours through its rich photographic material.
