What I can see
The building is a composition of two volumes, which are enclosed by a wall-shell of exposed concrete. Its line is sloping and decreasing towards the corner of Thessalonikis and Teo Streets, and the outdoor space is protected by the “tip” that is created. The upper floors of the main volume are not covered by this wall. The study provided for the best natural lighting and ventilation of the building. On the glass sections of the upper floors, there is a metal grid, which works as a shade, while vertical shades on the south-west facade, serve the same purpose. Emphasis has been given to the planting of the open areas and the surrounding area with aromatic and climbing plants.
What I can't see
The building was designed by Maria Kokkinou and Andreas Kourkoulas and houses the offices of a well-known bank. It has a total area of 12,513 sq.m., with the three basements included. Lastly, there is an interesting alternation of closed office spaces and semi-outdoor spaces on the floors.
