What I can see
It is an eclectic building with quite heavy decoration. Among the decorative elements are the false pilasters, the garlands, the capitals, the ornate balustrades and many other elements.
What I can't see
Before the construction of the building, here was a ground floor coffee shop. It first operated as the “Evia” hotel and was later renamed “Byzantion”, “Prigkipikon”, “Princess Helen”, “Ethnos” and “Victoria”. It was a B-class hotel and its customers were mainly merchants and visitors from the countryside. After the war, it operated as a 4th class hotel.
