What I can see

On Kolokotroni Street, we find three large upper class houses of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. These buildings are examples of the housing evolution in the city’s commercial centre. The oldest of the three is located at 3 Kolokotroni Street and housed shops on the ground floor. Although the building is not heavily decorated (with the exception of the elaborate balustrades on the balconies), it belongs to the buildings of eclectic architecture and is architecturally related to that of 5 Kolokotroni Street, which was built about 10 years later. This building has no perimeter walls. They have been replaced by thin columns among the openings, by using iron pillars of a suitable shape, which also offers greater stability to the building. The third eclectic house at 7 Kolokotroni Street has similar construction logic to the one of 5 Kolokotroni Street.

What I can't see

The buildings of 3 and 5 Kolokotroni Street were listed in 1979, but were unlisted a few years later and the demolition of the floors began. Eventually, they were re-listed and only their facades survived, while their interiors were completely altered to house offices and stores.
