This building was designed by Ernst Ziller. Symmetry, pilasters, pediments, cornice, gobles and many other elements, compose a sound neoclassical building of the era. The top floor was added later, again to Ziller’s designs.
It belonged to the industrialist Achilleas Koupas and was one of the largest buildings of the time. Today, it has been designated a listed monument.
