What I can see
The complex, which houses the offices of a construction company, consists of 3 autonomous office buildings, each with a ground floor and 3 upper floors. It has a total area of 8,650sq.m. Two of the buildings delimit the plot, with one having a cubic and the other a triangular shape. The middle building is 100 m long and rectangular, and has one truncated corner. This building is lined with brick, and its vaulted roof is made of oxidized copper. The other two buildings are lined with marble. Earthy colours are used throughout, and the openings have a constant rhythm, so a gentle scale is maintained despite the large volumes. The rest of the site is integrated with the surrounding public space, thus favouring the movement of passers-by instead of being used exclusively by the company’s employees. Much of it is paved with marble, and the tree planting follows the logic of the organized crops that previously existed in Maroussi, where the complex is located.
What I can't see
The offices of a construction company are housed here. The architects Andreas Kourkoulas and Maria Kokkinou followed the logic of Italian late-modern styles. The aim of the design was to contribute to the architectural upgrade of the city, to enhance its image, and to contribute to the improvement of workplaces.
