It is an urban apartment building, probably from the early interwar years and we know little about it. It is a building of simplified eclecticism and its main characteristic is the 3 vertical axes. The central one is in retreat, which creates the space for the balconies on each floor. Much of the decoration has not survived, as the building is in quite poor condition. The ground floor houses a bookstore and a publishing house, while the apartments on the floors are inhabited to this day.
We do not know who designed the building, nor when it was built. It is not listed on any list of protected or designated monuments, therefore any information may be incorrect. This is also one of the reasons why we cannot know exactly how its façade originally looked like.
