What I can see

On the 6th floor of the building of the Society of Macedonian Studies, over 300 works of modern Greek sculpture, engraving and painting are exhibited. It is a panorama of the evolution of Greek art from the 19th century to the present day, with an emphasis on artists from northern Greece. There are also several works by foreign artists depicting landscapes and monuments of Thessaloniki. Among the Greek artists are Umbertos Argyros, Spyros Vassiliou, Daniel Gounaridis, Christos Lefakis, Cleo Natsi, Valia Semertzidi and many more.

What I can't see

This gallery was the first organized art institution in the city. The works were acquired through purchases and artist donations.
