What I can see
The church of Agii Theodori is one of the oldest Christian churches in the city. It is two-columned, inscribed, it has an octagonal dome, narthex, three arches on the eastern side and Kufic decoration. During the German occupation, the interior was burned, so almost all the church’s murals (19th century) were destroyed.
What I can't see
It was probably built over an older church. The bell tower was built subsequent to the earlier structures. During the Greek Revolution, the church was badly damaged but later repaired.
