What I can see

Glyfada beach has a total length of more than 3.5 km and has an interesting alternation of small beaches and marinas. It has 6 beaches with sand and pebbles and 4 marinas, with the largest one being near the old town hall. The beaches are crowded, especially those in front of beach bars. During the night, the rest of the beaches gather young people, who enjoy the calmness of the sea. “Glyfada Plage”, as it has been known for many decades, was one of the first projects of post-war Athens, it is considered a resort to this day and includes bars, cafes, restaurants, event spaces and hotel facilities. Today, existing accommodation, catering and entertainment infrastructures are being upgraded and new ones are being built. Glyfada beach also has a swimming pool, fish restaurants and many sports people, who usually go for jogging or cycling, while there are many who take a walk that looks like an alternative to the shopping centre of Glyfada.

What I can't see

The development of Glyfada beach was an emblematic project during the 1950s, it had all the amenities of a tourist complex, which was shown especially through the Greek cinema of the time, and attracted celebrities from Greece and abroad.
