What I can see

The 9,085 square metre building of the former Public Tobacco Factory is a characteristic example of the industrial heritage of the 20th century. It has a basement and two floors. Its central patio has a glass ceiling, supported by a metal frame. The building has come under the ownership of the Greek Parliament and following renovations started hosting part of the parliamentary library (City Library).

What I can't see

During the 20th century, it housed a total of 25 tobacco companies. Today, the building houses daily and periodical press collections, a microfilm and electronic document storage section and an art conservation and journals section. The Library of the Greek Parliament has two more branches, one of them at the parliament building. The mission of the library is to provide information and textbooks of parliamentary interest, both for its members and their scientific colleagues, as well as the public, in order to support parliamentary work.
