What I can see

This neoclassical building of the 19th century belonged to the Mihalea family. Its present form is very different, as there have been many additions, most of which are from the 2000s. In the new wing of the museum, part of the medieval house and part of the fortification of the Acropolis of the 13th century AD were revealed. The museum hosts thousands of exhibits from the collection of Pavlos and Alexandra Kanellopoulou, which was donated to the Ministry of Culture and covers a period from the prehistoric era to the 19th century. Among the high value exhibits are Cycladic, Corinthian, Boeotian, and Attic vessels and figurines, objects of Mycenaean and Minoan art, and objects from Egypt, Mesopotamia and Cyprus.

What I can't see

It is a public museum, the aim of which is to promote Greek art, to spread Greek culture, education, and ideas, and also to promote actions in favour of less privileged social groups.
