What I can see
Today we only see the foundations of this Hellenistic monument. The foundations’ dimensions are 5.6 x 8.35m. and there were probably stairs to the right and left.
What I can't see
The monument was the platform from which speakers delivered speeches. In 88 BC the philosopher Athenion urged the Athenians from here to resist the Roman invasion. The Athenians voted for him and he became a general, but in the end, Romans won.
