What I can see
This is the largest cinema library in Greece and is located in Storehouse A of the city’s port, inside the Cinema Museum. It contains approximately 8,000 books and magazines, 6,000 of which are donations, including from the collection of a non-profit organization.
What I can't see
The number and variety of titles available in the library is impressive. They cover many areas of filmmaking, such as cinematography, theory, history, genres, national schools of filmmaking, artist biographies and foreign film magazines. Much of the collection has already been digitized while a project is underway for the safe keeping of the library’s many possessions. Already since the first months of its operation, its membership exceeded 1,200 people. Its construction was completed thanks to the generous sponsorship of a well-known institute.
