What I can see
This bronze sculpture (1.8m tall) depicts a couple with the woman holding a dove in her hands. At first, it gives the impression of being a single mass, but the dove “forces” the human figures to turn upwards and become distinguishable. The sharp tips of the sculpture’s surface favour the development of different levels of the sculpture and therefore the marble pedestal is as well spanning over several of them.
What I can't see
The sculpture is a work of Manolis Tzompanakis. According to experts, the figures are reminiscent of works with social and political symbolism.
