Dam of Thermi

Dam of Thermi is a beautiful landscape to the east of the city.

What I can see

The artificial lake created thanks to the dam, offers a unique walk and is a refuge for many animals, such as snakes, ducks, turtles and many species of birds.

What I can't see

The dam was built in Thermi, specifically on the Anthemoundas River, which flows into the Thermaic Gulf. Many visit it for picnic, coffee, food, cultural and sporting events that are often held.
