What I can see
The former Alexander Technological Educational Institute (TEI) of Thessaloniki occupies an area of 160 acres, out of which about 90 are used for crops, greenhouses, stables and other farming infrastructure. The faculty buildings cover an area of 35,000 square metres. A restaurant, an auditorium, laboratories, a library and dormitories are also housed in the building.
What I can't see
TEI schools offered advanced training in technological applications. The Alexander TEI consisted of 5 faculties and 23 departments. The faculties were: 1) business administration and economics, 2) medical and healthcare professions, 3) agricultural technology, 4) technology applications, 5) food technology and nutrition. It was recently upgraded to a university and merged with the International University of Greece. A total of 430 permanent members teaching personnel are employed and about 18,000 students enrolled.
