What I can see

The mission of the Goethe Institute of Thessaloniki is to promote German culture and Greek-German relations. It has a rich cultural program with an emphasis on current trends and provides information on social, political and cultural news from Germany. Since 2012, a digital library called “onheile”, which includes audio-visual material, has been operating here. Finally, the institute offers opportunities to take German language lessons in Germany and gives seminars for German teachers.

What I can't see

The institute is separated in general and special departments and is an affiliate of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Its Thessaloniki department serves Macedonia, Thessaly and Thrace in Greece, and serves Kosovo (Pristina) and Albania (Tirana) outside of Greece.
