What I can see

On Mount Hortiatis, at an altitude of 850 m and 30 km from Thessaloniki, is the village of Livadi. It is a very peaceful village with traditional houses, cafes and taverns, surrounded by forests, which mainly consist of pine and plane trees.

What I can't see

The permanent residents of the village are about 260; while a century ago there were about 1250. Most of them moved to Thessaloniki. Livadi is considered by the Thessalonians as a pleasant destination for a day trip.
