What I can see

Opposite the City Hall, we see the “Meteoron” sculpture. It consists of 12 figures and aluminum tubes, all painted red. The figures are entangled vertically and weigh about 400 kg. The sculpture is placed on a marble base (2m. X 1.40m. X 1.40m.) and its total height is 12 metres.

What I can't see

According to sculptor Kostis Georgiou, the sculpture symbolizes friendship, cooperation, solidarity and what we can achieve united. It was a donation from the “Estate of Gerovasilis SA”.
